Running U3A Writing Life Story groups has convinced us that members find a monthly meeting to share their writing satisfying fun and for many people a chance to unpick things about the life lived as well as to explore and record the social history of our times.  Family and friends almost always welcome these stories.

A monthly meeting provides an incentive to keep the project rolling along. When people say ‘Yes I would love to do that but . . . we remind them that none of our futures are infinite.  The gardening the grandchildren walking the dogs all matter BUT!
